As the Reels Turn is an interactive slot game or iSlot from Rival Gaming. It is an online video slot game with five reels, 15 lines and a multi denominational coin value ranging from 1c to $5, with a maximum of a 5 coin wager per line. As the Reels Turn has a soap opera theme. During the play of Rival’s iSlots the play will be determined by choices that players make throughout each of the scenes and bonus games.
The players in this game are Matt G, the casino owner; Tommy, an Elvis impersonator, The Don, and Chrissy. Other symbols include Ivan the fish, lobster dinner and a stack of casino chips and money.
The first scene of this iSlot is ‘I can’t afford a friend in the world.’ In order to advance to the next round three or more of the ‘advance to next scene’ symbols must appear on any payline. You can also play a bonus round in this scene if three or more of the ‘Tommy W.’ symbols appear anywhere in the play field. Free spins can be triggered by getting three fish named ‘Ivan’ appearing in any spot.
There is a bonus game in this round and in all other scenes as well; get three of the bonus symbols on any payline and you will have a bonus game where you help the Matt character try to find the fake coins. You earn coins until you click on one of the fake chips. There are also bonus rounds in after every two scenes.
In the next part you must help Terry pick a color for his new car. During this round you can also win bonus spins and help Mr Wong find a new entertainment act. After this part in the storyline you go back to the slot play. Once you get three more of the ‘advance’ symbols you move to scene two
Scene two is ‘he won’t play hardball’. The prize amounts and the symbols don’t change through the game. Advancing to the next part of the storyline again means you will need to see three of the ‘advance to next scene’ symbols anywhere in the play field.
The third scene of As the Reels Turn is just the same as the previous two scenes and has the same payouts and bonus games.
Scene number four is ‘I remember like it was yesterday.” Remember again that all the symbols and payouts are the same throughout each of the scenes of As the Reels Turn so there isn’t anything new about this scene. Same bonus games and free spins.
Scene five ‘The rabbit never knows’ is just like the other scenes, same symbols and all. Finish this scene by getting the three ‘advance to next scene’ symbols and you will go to the last scene of the game before another bonus round. This bonus round says that people left there money inside different slot machines and you have to go retrieve it, pick three of the machines shown and get the money that was left.
After you finish that scene you start back at the beginning of the game map.
This iSlot seems to have a better payout percentage than some of the others on Rival Gaming. By the time I finished going through the entire storyline I was ahead by about 200 times my total bet! This was one of the first iSlot games and while I would much rather play this one, mainly because of the awesome payout percentage, it doesn’t have nearly the storyline detail as some of the other newer Rival iSlot games.
