The regular play icons in Travel Bug are a French Caterpillar, a lounging slug, a rock and roll ‘beetle’ bug, an airplane, a red legged spider, a train, a strange purple bug, a blue fly and a red working bug with briefcase. The special icons of the game are a traveling housefly, a hitchhiking lady bug and a passport.

The traveling house fly icon is a scatter and 3 or more of them will trigger 10 ‘can’t lose’ free spins. The ‘can’t lose’ free spins has a wild symbol on the entire first reel. The Lady Bug icon is wild and replaces all icons except scatters. Three or more passport icons on the play field will trigger the ‘Travel the World’ bonus round.

The ‘Travel the World’ Bonus round has you racing around the world. The travel bug has to jet around the world and collect passport stamps to collect money. At every airport there are three airlines to choose from. Choose and airline and buy a ticket. Once all your ticket money is spent your journey ends.

This is a really cute game complete with my favorite things; free spins and bonus rounds. The only down side to this game is that every time the reels spin there are little lady bugs buzzing around the play field, this is a bit annoying and makes me feel like I’m seeing spots or stars. If you can get past the lady bugs everywhere this game could be good to you. I left the game with about twice the bankroll that I started with!
